Our corporate philosophy is “to contribute to the effective use of limited resources on planet Earth, creating new value of resources through surface modification of all kinds of materials, preserving the global environment, and realizing an affluent society.” To this end, we have pursued innovation to enhance our surface modification technology according to our customers’ demands. As a result, we have contributed to industries, society, and our customers’ businesses by applying our technology.
In recent years the business environment has been changing rapidly, and it has become difficult to respond to such changes based on conventional approaches. It symbolizes the age of volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity (VUCA).
To respond to those rapid changes, Nihon Parkerizing will return to the fundamental corporate philosophy which underpins our business and actively seeks solutions to social issues using our expertise in the field of surface modification technology. At the same time, we are creating new value and promoting sustainability-oriented management to continue as a corporate group that develops and grows together with society. In May 2021, the Nihon Parkerizing Group formulated its “Vision2030”, specifying six critical issues (materialities) from a perspective of pursuing sustainability. In addition, in parallel with these initiatives, the Group will further increase its engagement in measures to decarbonize society by newly establishing targets for cutting carbon dioxide emissions.
The expanded Central Research Laboratories (CRL) will strengthen research and development of environmentally friendly products and services for the electric vehicle (BEV) parts industry. We will further contribute to reducing the environmental load throughout the entire supply chain by utilizing these products and services.
The role and responsibility of corporations will be increasingly heavier to find solutions for various social problems which surface and become even more severe. The Nihon Parkerizing Group will do its utmost to contribute to the creation of sustainable growth and the resolution of social issues and be a company with trust from all stakeholders, under our slogan of “transforming a diverse range of surfaces with chemistry.”
